At launch, Hope Harbor Academy will offer grades K-3 in a combined-classroom model. We believe there is tremendous benefit to educating children across age groups. This allows children a broader context in which their interests and strengths can develop. It also exposes students to others whose developmental stage may be different from their own, and this exposure promotes a sense of compassion and mutual understanding.

Using the established Abeka curriculum as a basis, our staff tailors learning to the individual student. This can help them achieve proficiency in each of the Kentucky state educational standards, both at their grade level and beyond. Student progress is measured against the standards rather than other students, allowing teamwork and camaraderie to thrive within the classroom. We believe in creating opportunities for students to learn from subject matter experts in hands-on environments.

Hope Harbor Academy begins August 9th and continues through May 24th. Monday through Friday the doors will open at 8:00 a.m., with the school day taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traditional school holidays and breaks are observed. A more detailed school schedule is available here.

Our tuition includes all regular curriculum, programming, and materials through this timeframe as well as the school lunch. There are no additional or hidden fees with the exception of special field trips. The costs for field trips may vary depending on the destination. Additionally, we offer after-school care and a summer-school program at a discounted rate for those enrolled in the academy. Both programs extend activities through 5:30 pm.
